Haunted Spouse is a Project for the Brackey's Game Jam 2025.1.

Haunted Spouse focuses around the main character needing to tidy up the house before his partner and judgmental in-laws show up. As his wife leaves to pick them up she reminds him that "Nothing can go wrong" and the house must be spotless. Trying to make his life easier, he tries to summon a cleaning ghost to aid in his chores. Being inexperience, he accidentally opens a portal that allows many trickster ghosts into his house with the sole focus of destroying every room.

You (the main character) will need to explore each room of the house to try and fix the messes and cleanse the ghosts. The gameplay includes a few different minigames, one fully finished room (kitchen), and a full first floor to explore. You can even find an easter egg if you manage to get outside of the house!
